1) What makes you happy?
Exploring new places makes me happy. I love to travel and see new things, and even just be outside somewhere new for the day. I am always happy when I’m around my friends or family, it doesn’t matter what we’re doing.

2) What’s something most people don’t know about you?
Most people don’t know that I love to work with ceramics. I took a class at the ASI Craft Center a few years ago and have been hooked ever since.

3) Share your favorite memory working for ASI.
My favorite memory working with ASI was the Poly Escapes Crate Stacking Competition. It was an event I had heard of before but never seen in person, and people were having such a good time.

4) What’s the best place you’ve traveled to and why?
The best place I’ve traveled to is Colombia. It’s a beautiful country with amazing weather, great views, and delicious food. Some of the nicest beaches I’ve been to were in Colombia.

5) Where's your favorite spot in SLO?
My favorite spot in SLO is definitely the Leaning Pine Arboretum. I think it is one of Cal Poly’s most underrated spaces. Whenever I need to relax or get away, I always go up there because I know I’ll be one of the only people there. It’s a great space to think and clear your head.

6) If you could create a slogan for your life, what would it be?
Do what makes you happy.

7) What’s on your bucket list?
Spend the summer in Alaska. I have always wanted to be in Alaska for the summer solstice. I heard summers in Alaska are beautiful, and I want to experience the incredibly long hours of sunlight.

8) What are you most passionate about?
I am most passionate about the environment. I think our planet is worth protecting, and we need people looking at sustainability from all angles.

9) What do you hope to achieve after you graduate?
After I graduate, I hope to find meaning in every day. I want to be excited about my day, every day.

10) What advice would you give to students interested in working for ASI?
DO IT. Working for ASI has been one of my best decisions at Cal Poly. I have met so many people who I can connect with, and it has been an amazing experience.
