1) What’s your favorite summer activity?
My favorite summer activity is to travel. I have been to 14 different countries in my lifetime, and I really enjoy experiencing different cultures and areas around the world.

2) What’s something most people don’t know about you?
Most people don’t know that I am half Japanese and half Brazilian, and I am the only one in my family who was born in the United States.

3) Share your favorite ASI Student Government memory.
So far, my favorite ASI Student Government memory was the Spring Preview where I got the chance to meet so many cool people involved in ASI Student Government, and I look forward to working with them.

4) If you could create a slogan for your life, what would it be?
Explore and experience the world you have around you because there is something different in every step you take.

5) What’s the best place you’ve traveled to and why?
The best place I have traveled to is Barcelona, Spain because I really enjoyed their culture and food. As I look to the future, it is definitely a place where I would love to study abroad.

6) If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three items would you bring with you?
The first item I would bring would be my high school graduation booklet which is a photobook of all the memories that my closest friends and I created throughout our childhood. Second would be an original framed photo of my family. Lastly, a mini soccer ball that I have kept with me since I was young and brought everywhere.

7) What’s on your bucket list?
Two things that are on my bucket list include traveling to Bora Bora and doing a volunteer exchange in Africa.

8) What are you most passionate about?
One of the things I am most passionate about is helping and supporting others to make positive impacts. Part of the reason I joined ASI Student Government is to help make positive changes to our school.

9) What do you hope to achieve after you graduate?
After I graduate, I hope that I get the chance to join an accounting firm with the chance of also being involved in a financial services business. I plan to stay involved with the community around me as well.

10) What advice would you give to students interested in joining ASI Student Government?
Don’t hold back from joining and becoming involved with ASI Student Government. Making positive impacts on your school can go a long way for not just the students on campus, but the community around it.
