Tips For Success at The Cal Poly Recreation Center

Whether to better your body or better your mind, the Cal Poly Recreation Center has everything you need for a great workout. This cutting edge facility is managed by Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) and offers multiple workout rooms, state-of-the-art equipment, an indoor track, numerous indoor courts, a variety of group fitness classes, personal training, Olympic-size lap pool, leisure pool, beach volleyball courts, recreation areas, and relaxation zones—all available to eligible members of the Cal Poly community. Leave your stresses at the door and make this your destination for fitness, recreation, and fun!

To ensure members have the best experience, please keep these rules in mind when exploring, recharging, or escaping at the Cal Poly Recreation Center:

  • Food, drink, and gum are not allowed. Please do not consume or dispose of any beverages including protein, pre or post-workout drinks while in the facility.
  • A dress code is strictly enforced at all times. Shoes and cover-up required inside the facility. No bare midriffs, cutout, or low-hanging clothing is allowed.
  • Lockers or cubbies must be utilized to store all personal items while using the facility.
  • Treat equipment with respect and leave it in its designated location.
