Sticking around for spring break? Try a fitness class!

There are a few times each year when campus is eerily quiet and it seems like everyone is out of town. Spring break is on the horizon and if you’re staying local it’s the perfect time to try a group fitness class at the Cal Poly Recreation Center.

Fewer students on campus means popular classes like Breakaway and Body Pump will be less crowded and easier to attend. Smaller class sizes also make for a less intimidating environment when trying a new class or asking an instructor for help.

Fitness classes offered during spring break include:

  • 6-Pack Abs
  • Barre Connect
  • Body Combat
  • Body Pump
  • Breakaway
  • Fusion Pilates
  • Gentle Yoga
  • Hatha Yoga
  • H.I.I.T.
  • Restorative Yoga

The spring break fitness class schedule runs from Monday, March 27 through Friday, March 31. On Saturday, March 25 the Rec Center hours will be adjusted to 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. for building maintenance.
