1) What makes you happy?
Being around my friends, especially in fun settings such as music festivals. Being in a setting with so many people that share common interests with you is amazing. Oh, and burritos. Burritos are great.
2) What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I know the lyrics to every song in High School Musical. All three movies.
3) Share your favorite memory working for ASI.
Working during Open House 2017. It is so great to get to meet so many prospective students with such high hopes and dreams that come from all walks of life to come see what Cal Poly is all about.
4) What’s the best place you’ve traveled to and why?
Cancun, Mexico. My mom spent the first 18 years of her life there, and all of her siblings and cousins still live there so it’s amazing to be immersed in the culture there. The sense of community is so strong among everyone and just makes you feel so happy.
5) Where's your favorite spot in SLO?
Pirate’s Cove with a burrito in hand.
6) If you could create a slogan for your life, what would it be?
You must live in the present; find your eternity in each moment.
7) What’s on your bucket list?
To attend a baseball game at every MLB ballpark. Also, to attend Coachella at age 100.
8) What are you most passionate about?
Music. Music is food for the soul and has the amazing power to completely change your mood.
9) What do you hope to achieve after you graduate?
To work for an NBA team analyzing data and hopefully meet some of the top NBA stars.
10) What advice would you give to students interested in working for ASI?
Get to know everyone in ASI, not just the people in your department. Everyone who works for ASI is amazing, and I have met some of my best friends by interacting with people who work in different departments. You will make some great connections with people that will undoubtedly follow you wherever you go.
