Find Your Quiet Place This Finals Week

By: Jenna Brown on Mar 15, 2018 in Campus News

Whether you’re looking to cram for a final or searching for a quiet space to close your eyes and relax, ASI has you covered with the ultimate finals week study and relaxation spaces.

PAC Finals Fun

ASI Events is taking over the Cal Poly Performing Arts Center (PAC) lobbies on Monday, March 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for PAC Finals Fun. All four lobby levels will be open with tables and quiet seating areas for students to study. Free coffee, tea, bagels, donuts, snacks, and Scantrons will be available for all students with a valid PolyCard. “Opening this extra space on the Monday of finals week is prime when other areas of campus are usually overcrowded,” ASI Events Student Manager Brayden Antonio said.

Relaxation Room and Study Space

De-stress and prepare for finals in the Cal Poly Recreation Center Training Room from March 14 to 22. The Training Room will be transformed into a quiet relaxation room with bean bags, a hydration station, mats, pillows, blankets, and reduced lighting. There will be tables, chairs, and electrical power for study space in the lobby outside of the Training Room.

University Union Study Spaces

From March 18 to 22, the University Union will be open 24 hours a day to cater to your late-night study needs. Grab a seat on the second floor, or jump into Chandler Lounge or San Luis Lounge for a quieter study experience.

Good luck on those finals, Mustangs! Stay connected to on-campus activities and updates on the Cal Poly ASI InstagramCal Poly ASI Facebook, and Cal Poly ASI Snapchat.
