Name: Cassie Olovsson
Position: ASI Craft Center Frontline Student Manager
Major: Sociology, minors in Psychology and Economics
School year: 4th
Hometown: Tustin, CA
 
1) What's your favorite activity?
Appreciating the outdoors through any outlet with good people.
 
2) What's something most people don't know about you?
I was born in Hawaii and have a Hawaiian middle name, Hokulani which means heavenly star.
 
3) What do you like most about working for ASI?
The connections that I make and the various groups of people I meet.
 
4) What's your favorite spot in SLO?
The back patio of Linnaea's Cafe.
 
5) What's the best place you've traveled to and why?
Tlaquepaque, Mexico because we stayed in a cute little local hotel and the whole town was filled with art shops and very nice people who pretended that my Spanish was good.
 
6) What's on your bucket list?
Move back to Hawaii at some point in my life.
 
7) What do you hope to achieve after you graduate?
Continue to learn and grow every day.
 
8) What advice would you give to students interested in working for ASI?
Go for it! There are so many opportunities and connections you can make through ASI.
