Access to the Cal Poly “P” has been restricted due to safety concerns following heavy rains that caused the mudslide behind Fremont Hall. According to a Cal Poly Facilities Management & Development Facebook post, “Weather-related erosion has disrupted the stability of the hillside and created an unsafe condition for pedestrian foot traffic and related activities.”

All hiking and decorating of the "P" has been halted and the area will be closed through the end of the academic year in June. Due to the closure, ASI Facility Scheduling will not be accepting any new requests to decorate the "P" and all current requests have been cancelled. Once the area reopens ASI will notify Cal Poly students on the process to reserve and decorate the “P” once again.

If you have any questions regarding a reservation for the “P” please contact ASI Facility Scheduling.
